The poviat is located in the central part of the Podkarpackie voivodship, just 17 km from Rzeszów – the capital of Podkarpacie. Our neigbours are the Poviat of Rzeszów (southern and western border), the Poviat of Przeworsk (eastern border) and the Poviat of Leżajsk (northern border).
